Greek Wedding Photographer – Detroit, Michigan

Chris + Tamarah tied the knot this past weekend in Detroit, MI. Their Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony was spectacular! We captured some fun shots, during their photo shoot, in downtown Detroit.

Spectacular view!
Top hat for the ring bearer.  How cute!

In a Greek Orthodox wedding the rings are placed on the right hand.  The light was coming through the stained glass and lit their hands perfectly.  The sun managed not to spill onto them.  Thus casting them in a deep shadow.  Striking photo if I do say so myself.

The bride and groom are crowned with thin crowns, which are joined by a white ribbon and have been blessed by the priest. The crowns symbolize the glory and honor that is being bestowed on them by God, and the the ribbon symbolizes their unity. The koumbaro then exchanges the crowns between the heads of the couple, three times.
Nice cropping by the bridesmaid!!
Another spectacular view.

Detroit!
The onlooker set the tone for this photo.

Setting took place at a park in Grosse Pointe, MI.

Reception was held at the Roostertail – in Detroit, MI.  Love this photo from their first dance.
