Most of my clients have met with me in my offices in Royal Oak. Very few know that I actually reside in Leamington, Ontario (Leamington Wedding Photographer too). Just East of Windsor. I’m a U.S. citizen that has lived abroad for the past 8 plus years. The commute to Michigan is long but I have grown accustom to the drive. I schedule consultations once a week in Royal Oak and once a week at my home office. This helps keep the long drives to a minimum. 95% of my weddings take place in Michigan. The rest are scattered in Windsor and Florida. So, most weekends are spent in Michigan. If I have back to back weddings I’ll usually find a nearby hotel. Since all my equipment is registered at the boarder (Y38 Documents – and I carry receipts of all equipment purchases too) I have no problems crossing.
I am looking forward to shooting more Windsor weddings in 2012 and beyond. For a limited time, all Windsor wedding photographer packages include HST! That will literally save you hundreds of dollars.
As a Leamington wedding photographer, I have had the privilege to shoot a few weddings near home. They were small intimate back yard weddings that were amazing to shoot. It feels odd sometimes to complete a wedding shoot and being home in 10 minutes. I could actually get use to that. My typical drive home from Michigan is 90 minutes or more. Even a Windsor wedding allows me to make it home within 30 minutes. All the more reason I would like to be your Windsor wedding photographer.
You will find a few photos that I shot as a Wallaceburg wedding photographer a couple of years back. Look for the couple along a tobacco barn. Some of my favorite photos to this day.
In February of 2012, I’ll be able to call myself a Wheatley wedding photographer too! Looking forward to shooting in a new town. Look for some new exciting location photos on the homepage of this site in early March.
If your looking for a Sarnia wedding photographer or even a London wedding photographer I will travel to your destination too! For the right couple and wedding I’ll travel to Toronto too!
Here are few options for your Windsor wedding photographer ideas
Ciociaro Club
One of the most popular wedding venues has to be the Ciociaro Club. The Club’s grand entrance has a domed ceiling, fountain and cathedral staircase. Along with the outdoor settings, they provide the perfect location for your cherished photographs.
You will find their menus provide a diverse variety for wedding receptions of all sizes. If you have a specific request they are able to design a specialized menu just for your wedding.
Their specialized sweet tables and fresh fruit buffets are the perfect complement to your customized menu. They are readily available to provide professional advice and personalized services to ensure your dessert selections are elegantly presented.
This venue offers six elegant rooms from which to choose from. Each offering accommodations for varying sizes of wedding guests.
Willistead Manor
Looking for a unique location with privacy? Willistead Manor provides just that. They provide space for either an outdoor or indoor ceremony location. Followed by an indoor reception within the Manor. This location is best for smaller intimate weddings.
The outdoor ceremony space is held in the Paul Martin Gardens. This is a formal garden that features many rare perennials. It is directly connected to the Manor and is a picturesque venue. Their are a total of seven uniquely designed rooms to hold your reception.
The grounds around the Manor provide a variety of unique and traditional backdrops for your photo shoot. Your guests will love the idea of your entire day at one location. It will definitely make your day much more stress free.
Caboto Club
Another hot spot is the Giovanni Caboto Club. This reception hall is able support over 3,000 people. A prime choice for extremely large weddings. The knowledgeable staff will assist you in making the arrangements for your special wedding day. In addition to specialized menus, your friends and family will be delighted to know that they offer vegetarian meals too. They’ll even provide off premise catering too.
Art Gallery of Windsor
Looking for a unique indoor wedding experience? This is a must see. I have covered several wedding ceremonies and receptions at the Art Gallery of Windsor. You will discover numerous photos, from this location, in the above gallery. My favorite photo is the couple mimicking the statues. Family and friends will enjoy perusing the gallery of artwork. Their are photographic opportunities around every corner.
