Lightroom Quick Tip #1

In this Lightroom quick tip tutorial, you’ll learn how to add your logo to the Lightroom interface.

One

Right click on the Identity Plate and select “Edit Identity Plate.”

Two

Choose either of the following…

  1. “Use a styled text identity plate”
    1. select this option to type in your name
    2. then, select your font, font size and color
  2. “Use a graphical identity plate”
    1. select this option to add your logo
    2. click on “Locate File”, locate it and clik OK

Three

Done!

Your logo (or name) should now be placed in the Identity Plate!

Last quick tip

Make sure your logo is saved as a PNG file with no background layer (transparent background instead).

  1. Hi Chris,

    I’m in the process of moving photos into Luminar and I.ve been watching your Tutorials but I still have a question or two and hope you can help me.

    I want to organize my photos in am creating albums that are in a folder so I created a folder called Vacations and I’m trying to move folders such as Vacation 2004 into it but I can’t get the album to move, what am I doing wrong?
